Bio

Putrefaction was the solo project for Andrew Gossard.  A mix of black and death metal, with a bit of industrial and synth.  The 1st album Mechanical Death, was a journey into a dystopian future ruled by machines.  Very Industrial by design and raw.  Picking up several years later the 2nd release was Alkahest.  A journey into Alchemy with a heavy dose of Lovecraftian lore.  This album Also features guest artist Chris Hatfield (Ebullism).  This release had a more Blackened death sound.  The 3rd release was the Black EP.  A melodic black / death mix .   Followed up with the Stranger Aeons   maxxie single.  boasting a cover of the almighty Dissection and a guest Joseph Borman(Carved In Flesh).  The 4th Album Gazing Into The Abyss, twelve tracks of metal of the blackest night, fused together in death.  Ten tales steeped in Lovecraftian Lore, A Cover of Dimmu Borgir and several Guests. Chris Hatfield(Ebullism), Joseph Borman(Carved In Flesh), Mark Hauenstein (Ala Carte),Ryan Wechta(Void) and Ronda Gossard.  Shortly after the release of the album a live band was being formed. TBC
